We offer a six month program where we cover topics like strategy, financing, pivoting, pitching and marketing. While you are in the program we will introduce you to professionals in the industry who will share their experiences and insight in the industry as well as potential collaborative and financial partners.

Workshop 1: What is a game studio and business strategy and why do you need them? We will also have our first iteration of pitches as a way to famliarize ourselves with each other, the studios and the current projects.

Workshop 2: We go through the financial landscape for games financing and how to evaluate what is right for your studio. There are now over 500 game publishers, how do you find the one that is right for you? Or should you rather go for a project investment? Or something else? We provide tools and insights to help you navigate this landscape as well as continuing our refinement of the game pitches.

Workshop 3: Marketing. We introduce some of the core concepts that you should think about when it comes to marketing your game.

And we continue to refine your pitch so you are ready for:

Workshop 4: Pitching to publishers and project investors. We organize The Spawn Point Pitch where you can pitch to actual publishers and investors, get feeback and have one-on-one’s with them.

After this event we will organize online pitch sessions with more publishers where they will continue conversations with the teams they’re interested in and they will always provide feedback. Which we feel is an essential learning tool.

Workshop 5: What now? We assess where you are and how realistic it is for the game to get funding and explore what other options are available for your studio.

Workshop 6: You present your current business strategy for your studio and for those that are interested, give their first investment pitch. And we discuss the road ahead.

We will be inviting expert guests to come and give their feedback, expertise and professional industry insight.

Workspace and price

This year we will be able to provide workspace at Work-Work, as well. So for those teams that wish to sit with us in Trondheim we are able to offer a very affordable option.

In addition, we will be charging each team NOK 10.000,- for participating in the program. Whether that is funding that you get sponsored by a local entity or if you charge the studio, that is up to you. We are open to discussing the options that work best for you!
